There are a few things to keep in mind when shopping for your daily vitamin supplements:

Reputable brand

The twice marked-down bottle of 99 pence vitamins by a brand you've never heard of with misspellings on the label probably isn't a wise investment. As always, you tend to get what you pay for.

Absorbability

You can take the world's purest, most potent vitamin supplement. But if you encase it in an impenetrable shell, it won't do you any good, right? Likewise, some tablets are just too tough a nut to crack for your gut to digest completely. The best solution would be to get powder-filled capsules.

Freshness

You wouldn't buy milk that was three days past its expiration date. Make sure you don't make that mistake with your vitamins either. The use-by date should be so far into the future you'll have used up the entire bottle well before that.

Sneaky dosages

Finally, don't be taken in by shops pulling fast ones with dosages. Comparing two 180 cap bottles by equally reputable brands where one is £30 and the other £20 may seem like a no-brainer. But wait until you get home and discover that the £20 tablets were mostly filler, so you have to take four tablets per day, while the £30 bottle was concentrated enough to accomplish the same with just one capsule. In other words, you bought a 45 day supply for £20 instead of a 180 day supply for £30.

So what makes G&G different?

Research of our customers shows that the reason they take G&G supplements is due to the purity of raw materials and the effectiveness of the products. In the manufacturing of our capsules, no heat is ever used. No binders are needed. No colourants are needed. No disintegrates are needed. No excipients are needed. And no diluents are needed. The only additive that is ever used is if the active constituent is so tiny as to require a natural base in order to encapsulate it.

Research also dictates that people actually prefer taking capsules, as they are easier to swallow. But there is another reason why capsules are much healthier to take than tablets - the ingredients themselves. As a rule, capsules do not contain any of the unnecessary additives! The purer the constituents the better the results. There are no fillers, binders, excipients, colourings, disintegrants and diluents to name a few. Excipients such as povidone, (PVP), cellulosics, modified starches and others used as binders, disintegrants and diluents, can constitute up to 85% of the tablet!

Taking capsules increases absorption of the product far more efficiently – and certainly, you will not find a capsule passing through the digestive tract undigested – the capsule is designed to disintegrate hence the supplements are released into the system with a higher rate of absorbency.
