Many of us may have to supplement our diet to ensure that we are getting all that we need. But what do we take? What is best for the body? There is no point in taking supplements that are putting in more additives and preservatives than active ingredients. But believe it or not, when you take vitamins, minerals or herbs in tablet form that is exactly what you are doing!

Very often, the active ingredients –the vitamins and minerals – are only 15% of the entire tablet!

Fillers, binders, excipients, colourings, disintegrants and diluents to name a few. Excipients such as povidone, (PVP), cellulosics, modified starches and others used as binders, disintegrants and diluents, can constitute up to 85% of the tablet!

The cheaper the tablet, the more of these ingredients are contained in them; you get what you pay for - which is why they are so much cheaper than capsules.

There are also many reports on the fact that they either pass through the digestive system unscathed – or worryingly, they get stuck in the digestive tract altogether – neither disintegrating, or passing through.

What about Capsules?

Research dictates that people actually prefer taking capsules, as they are easier to swallow. But there is another reason why capsules are much healthier to take than tablets - the ingredients themselves. As a rule, capsules do not contain any of the unnecessary additives! The purer the constituents the better the results.

Taking capsules increases absorption of the product far more efficiently – and certainly, you will not find a capsule passing through the digestive tract undigested – the capsule is designed to disintegrate hence the supplements are released into the system with a higher rate of absorbency.

Pureflo™ & Trufil™

Our customers are not forced into taking excessive numbers of tablets in order to maintain doses being prescribed by the practitioner.

Research of our customers shows that the reason they take G&G supplements is due to the purity of raw materials and the effectiveness of the products. In the manufacturing of our capsules, no heat is ever used. No binders are needed. No colourants are needed. No disintegrates are needed. No excipients are needed. And no diluents are needed. The only additive that is ever used is if the active constituent is so tiny as to require a natural base in order to encapsulate it.

At G&G our Pureflo™ & Trufil™ ranges offer a broad spectrum of high quality vitamin and mineral supplements using only pure ingredients. Trufil capsules and Pureflo powders contain no wheat, lactose, yeast, gluten, added sugars, chemicals, binders or additives. G&G only use the purest ingredients to make the most effective products, therefore making G&G the natural approach to a healthy lifestyle!
